1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Glowcase ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Glowcase is a web-based application that allows users to create professional screenshot mockups and marketing assets. The Service includes both free and paid subscription tiers with varying features and limitations.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Providing accurate and complete registration information
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Subscription Plans & Payments

4.1 Free Tier

The free tier provides limited access to Glowcase features, including restrictions on the number of projects, assets, and export options. Free tier exports include a Glowcase watermark.

4.2 Pro Subscription

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

4.3 Day Pass

Day Pass purchases provide 48-hour access to Pro features. Day Passes are one-time purchases and do not automatically renew.

4.4 Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, we may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of purchase if you have not substantially used the Service.

5. User Content

5.1 Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload to Glowcase, including screenshots and images. We do not claim any ownership over your content.

5.2 License to Glowcase

By uploading content, you grant Glowcase a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

5.3 Prohibited Content

You agree not to upload content that:

  • Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Is illegal, defamatory, or violates any applicable laws
  • Contains personal information of others without consent

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or watermarks (for free tier)

7. Intellectual Property

Glowcase and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Glowcase and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our templates, designs, and software code remain our exclusive property.

8. Data Storage & Retention

User content may be subject to storage limits and retention policies based on your subscription tier:

  • Free tier: Assets may expire after 14 days of inactivity
  • Day Pass: Assets retained for 30 days after pass expiration
  • Pro: Assets retained while subscription is active, with a 90-day grace period after cancellation

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLOWCASE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on the Service or sending you an email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
